As to becoming an Auntie again....

I like to consider myself as the eccentric Auntie of the family who buys all the horrible noisy presents... then leaves 'til next Christmas...  I'm sure Robyn calls me something else...lol...

New tricks....or blunders....!!!

I have just been publishing comments from my last post, and although I always reply via email, have also tried to leave a reply comment on my blog, however they aren't in the sequence I was hoping for!!  

Knowing me, I am probably missing something very simple, so please bear with me, and hopefully I will eventually get the hang of it..... and I can maybe pass it off as my New Year's Resolution...lol.....

I know I should be getting ready for Christmas, but.....

as you  may recall,  back in October I  attended the
Craft Bazaar in Childers....

....on the way, we made a bit of a detour....
  ....and bought  this.....!!! :)))

.....you might have to

use your imagination, but isn't

it great???  

....this photo's a bit blurry, but

the odd panel across the back in the

middle of this pic, is 

pressed metal complete with holes.....
these are meant to be there for

ventilation.

I plan to clean it up

and paint it...in my spare time...lol...

...and as you can guess, I am trying to catch up on everything, and START on Christmas presents....y..eeess...for THIS year...lol...

As you know, my last post was one of my 'jaunts' , however my heart wasn't really in it.

I had been feeling guilty that I hadn't posted a 'jaunt' for a while when I posted the last one, but I wasn't happy with it.

I planned to write this today to say sorry to all of you, then received a happy comment about it...lol...

I promise I will continue to do more 'jaunts' ....stop groaning...lol... but will only do them when I'm happy with what I write.

I thought  I would combine.....

Some people just don't seem to get the point how therapeutic

embroidery can be.....

It would be lovely to just sit under a lovely 

shady tree and stitch away.....

.....even the branches could lead to inspiration....

......and the number of 

stitches out there.....

.....the variety almost seems to

grow like rabbits ..lol...

 What ever you do.....

keep those needles away from

the tyres...lol...
