When is toooooo early......?!!!

Hi everyone,  does anyone else share my dilema?  When is it too early to set up the Christmas tree?

 

Many shops have had their Christmas decorations out and about for a couple of months now!

 

This year seems to have gone so quickly, and I can't decide where to put my tree, so I have decided not to have my big tree like last year, and to improvise.....

 

 

What do you think of my improvisation?

 

I'm thrilled with the end result of the baubles in the oversized brandy balloon.... noooo, I didn't drink the contents first.... 'hick' (hiccups)...lol.... :)

 

The train I added to my collection of decorations a few years ago, and yes, some more of my Christmas mice :)

Hi folks, I hope your week is going well.  Sorry if I haven't 'dropped by' lately, but I'm gradually getting back on track :)

As you can guess by the picture
above, I have been doing some Christmas craft.  I came across a cute design  by  Bronwyn ..... her designs are always amazing!!

I used back stitch for the stitchery, however for something different, I added a star to the sleigh.  The pics below show how I did it.....


I am definitely not wanting to claim the above as my own design!  My intention of this post is to show you how I stitched the star.  A big thank you to Bronwyn for such lovely designs.

Okay, this week, I have
been taking things slowly, but
managed to visit  here .
It looks like a nice one to
start the year :)

While tidying up after
Christmas,  I have
been 'playing' on the computer, and
come up with this.....



As you can guess, it will
be the same as my 'Jenny's Jaunts', but
with ideas of what you can make
for Christmas gifts, whether they
be fabric, cooking, etc.
