Hi folks, I hope your week is going well.  Sorry if I haven't 'dropped by' lately, but I'm gradually getting back on track :)

As you can guess by the picture
above, I have been doing some Christmas craft.  I came across a cute design  by  Bronwyn ..... her designs are always amazing!!

I used back stitch for the stitchery, however for something different, I added a star to the sleigh.  The pics below show how I did it.....

I am definitely not wanting to claim the above as my own design!  My intention of this post is to show you how I stitched the star.  A big thank you to Bronwyn for such lovely designs.

Happy crafting,  Jenny

Hi everyone, I hope
your week is going well.

I thought this would
be a lovely spot for todays' pattern.
It is one of Kaaren's  lovely redwork designs.

Welcome home,  Kaaren :)

Hi folks, I hope everyones' week is starting better than last week!

When it comes to embroidery, you can't always find the brand of cotton used, so the link on the image above, will take you directly to a download for the alternatives between  Anchor, and DMC threads.

The last couple of
Countdown to Christmas jaunts
have involved embroidery, so I thought
this might come in handy :)

Hi everyone, I hope
you enjoy my 'Jenny's Jaunts', and
approve of the new button....
you are welcome to mention them on
your blog, or add the button to your
sidebar if you like.

Okay, this week, I have
been taking things slowly, but
managed to visit  here .
It looks like a nice one to
start the year :)

While tidying up after
Christmas,  I have
been 'playing' on the computer, and
come up with this.....

As you can guess, it will
be the same as my 'Jenny's Jaunts', but
with ideas of what you can make
for Christmas gifts, whether they
be fabric, cooking, etc.

I will start these posts soon.
Let me know what you think :)
I hope you enjoy the ride!

'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house,
not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse  w....e....ll.....
maybe just a few, but they do like Christmas too.

'Attic Antics'  is how I usually refer to the mice I have in the shop.  They have gone away for the Christmas holidays  (in other words I've sold out!)  and their relies have come to look after things for them.

There are two generations.  The older generation are approx. 10cm, and the younger generation are approx. 7.5cm.  Sometimes all they need is a bit of encouragement  (a push in the right spot) to sit or stand.  They have a little bell on their tail which is good if ever they get into mischief, but they seem happy to just watch the world go by.  The really patient ones will also hold your pins for you.

At $5.95 each,  I'm sure they would be happy to come and look after your place too.

Best wishes  with the Christmas preparations.  In a few weeks you will be able to sit back and remember this one with joy - not just because it's over....the next one is only 12 months away, not that anyone's counting, ha, ha.   Bye for now,  Jenny
